Arnold Palmer Invitational

Life

IMG_5040Checking in today from beautiful Bay Hill, Florida.
Every year I attend the Arnold Palmer Invitational with my dad.  And, every year, I seem to forget how hot it is in Florida in March and never seem to choose the right thing to wear.  I either wear the wrong shoes or the wrong dress or I go to the extreme and wear jeans!!  I knew this morning when I put those jeans on it was going to be a mistake, but for some reason I didn’t listen to my instinct.  So, despite the wardrobe malfunction, it was an amazing day.  Honestly, I was only uncomfortable towards the end of the day when my jeans were sticking to my legs, but otherwise, I’ve been in more uncomfortable situations.
We began the day by sitting down with this man…

After getting a photo and autograph, we wandered around the course and stopped into a few hospitality tents.  The weather was spectacular and the views were great!IMG_5005IMG_5032I don’t generally follow much golf, but when you are there, watching it in person, it is so exciting.  I found myself on the edge of my seat a few times.  Makes me want to take up golf again…this happens every year.  I always go to the tournament and always want to take up golf the next day.
I’ll be heading back to the course tomorrow.  Excited to spend more time with my dad and also excited to see who comes out the winner this year.  Wishing best of luck to all the players. 🙂IMG_5009
