My Fall Adventure to Alton, Illinois

Travel

I am packed and ready for my next big adventure.  I am heading to Alton, Illinois for a few days to experience a fall adventure. Here in Florida, temperatures are still hitting the high 90’s and everything is still so…green.  I guess it’s not a bad thing; the Florida seasons are similar to my wardrobe, all the same color.

Oh, how I love fall though.  It’s perfect; the temperatures, the colors and the feeling.  It’s so festive and happy.
After stalking the state of Illinois on social media for the past few months, I know that I am in for a real treat.  I already know I am going to fall in love, and may even be tempted to relocate to the Midwest for part of the year.
So, as of right now, I know I’m going to be parasailing.  I can finally check that off the bucket list.  It’s amazing that I haven’t done it before, living in Florida and all, just an hour from the beach.

I am also excited to experience the hauntings of Alton.  I am a sucker for all things scary, just hope I am able to sleep at night.

Speaking of sleeping, I will be staying at The GreenTree Inn Bed & Breakfast.  I’ve never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. Another first for me.
So now that my 5 sweaters have been pulled from storage and packed,  I’m ready to go. Alton, Illinois, here I come!
