Keeping Your New Year’s Resolutions…One Step at a Time

We have officially made it to March! How many of you have kept on course with your New Year’s resolutions?

I have to say that I am pretty proud of myself this year. I am usually the one, who by the second week of January, has already thrown my resolutions out the window, but not this year. I made 3 big resolutions (goals) for myself.

1. Stick to an Exercise Routine

2. De-Clutter (throw things away)

3. Plan my wedding

Although resolutions take time, I have to say I have made some good progress at maintaining all three of my resolutions.

I even signed up for my first 5K in 5 years which took place last night. I have been “training” for the past 2 months, and did surprisingly well. I was able to keep a pretty good pace and came in at 38:18 minutes.

5k collageI’m ready to sign up for the next one and beat that time.  It’s still not too late to follow through on the promises you made to yourself when the clock struck midnight on Januaury1.  Get out there and DO IT!
