A piece of history is reborn with the opening of the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida. After an extensive restoration project, this Jazz Age hotel is now welcoming guests once again.
The Fenway Hotel originally opened its doors in 1927 and since then has gone through various changes. From the first radio station in Pinellas County to a members-only club to college and back to the hotel again; those are just some of the transitions this historic building has gone through over the years. I’m a huge history buff, especially when its Florida history, so touring this hotel was a thrill for me. I love to imagine the way it was long ago and all the people who stayed within these walls.
Driving up, you will immediately notice the historic Spanish architecture. Old Florida feels for sure. A stone staircase leads you through an archway and into a cozy, modern lobby. Throughout the week, the lobby will feature live music to celebrate the Fenway’s musical heritage. You will also notice lots of bikes.

The staircase behind the bottom photo once led to the speakeasy. I kind of hope they bring that back too.
The hotel bikes make it easy to explore the local downtown scene and areas natural beauty. The convenient location puts guests just minutes from local events and attractions and is on the Jolly Trolley route which can take you to Clearwater Beach, Tarpon Springs, and other stops in between. And how can you pass up a view like this?
Besides the great location and spectacular views, the hotel also features include:
83 guest rooms and suites.

A swimming pool
HEW Parlor & Chophouse featuring chophouse cuts, chef-driven seasonal preparations, and extensive whiskey and Scotch collection.
Hi-Fi Rooftop Bar overlooking St. Joseph Sound.
And tons of event space.
I can’t wait to stay at the Fenway Hotel for those beautiful sunsets on the Sound and to explore Dunedin, Florida.
